Fairmined is an assurance label that certifies gold from empowered responsible artisanal and small-scale mining organizations who meet world leading standards for responsible practices. This initiative is powered by the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) who identify small mining organisations to work with. The goal is for their standards of practice to reach the Fairmined Standard, this takes a substantial investment and up to 2 years of hard work.

ARM support the miners in their journey to certification, and once certified they can sell their gold to markets across the globe! This partnership ensures continual compliance from the mining community and fair trade for the gold industry. When you choose to buy Fairmined Gold, you can be completely assured in the ethical origin of you gold and the positive impact your purchase has on the social development of the mining community.

This means ..

Miners are guaranteed a fair price for the minerals.

Responsible mining empowers communities. A fair exchange for all.

Buy choosing Fairmined you have the assurance that the gold is responsibly mined.
